Debbie Bazarsky

Debbie was a part of the 1809 LGBT Alumni board from 1997 to 2008. In the past, Debbie served as a liaison between 1809 LGBT and the campus community. Debbie also organized the first several lavender graduation ceremonies for LGBT graduating students, which we still sponsor along with Miami's LGBT campus community.


Debbie graduated from Miami as an undergraduate in 1997 and then again in 1999 with her masters degree in College Student Personnel. She is currently the LGBT Student Services Coordinator at Princeton University, where she provides programming, counseling, and support for the LGBT campus community. In addition, Debbie is involved with a number of regional and national LGBT organizations, mostly centered on queer activism and gender rights.
