1809 LGBT Alumni Announces 10th Annual Roy Bowen Ward $1000 LGBT Scholarship
Eligibility
- Open to students enrolled at a Miami University campus (Oxford, Hamilton, Middletown, or Luxembourg) during the 2009-2010 academic year
- Cumulative GPA, no lower than 2.5
- Applications sought from persons of diverse backgrounds
Award
- To be applied towards tuition, books, or fees
- Valid only 2009-2010 academic year
- Award reported to Financial Aid Office as a scholarship
Applicant to be judged on the following criteria by alumni
- Based on academic qualifications and financial need
- Evidence of serving, leading, and working for change in the LGBT community on campus or off campus.

RECIPIENTS WILL BE HONORED on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the annual
Lavender Graduation & Awards Ceremony held at Kumler Chapel, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
